Tariq brings a wealth of experience, with over 17 years as a Tax Auditor/Assessor in the Jordanian Ministry of Finance. He specialized in general sales tax/Indirect Tax (VAT) and corporate income tax, handling crucial responsibilities at the Income and Sales Tax Department and the Special Sales Tax Control (Excise) Centers’ section. Notably, Tariq also served as a member of the VAT appeal Committee.
Beyond his auditing expertise, Tariq is a Certified Trainer and training course designer in Jordan’s General Sales Tax (VAT) Law, along with its amendments and implementations. His dedication to education and training ensures that our team at Powers Tax Consultancy and Accounting stays up-to-date with the latest tax regulations.
